Manchester City Council's Account and Claim Tracker is the on-line system for Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit.

Council Tax and Business Rates

If you pay Council Tax or Business Rates to Manchester City Council, you can:

• View your account on line. You need to register before using this service
• Search for the Council Tax band or the Business Rates Rateable Value of any property in Manchester.
• Make a one-off payment using our on-line payment facility

Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit

• If you live in Manchester and receive Housing Benefit and / or Council Tax Benefit you can Check details of your claim online .  If you have made a claim recently, you will not be able to view your claim online until you receive your award letter. You need to register before using this service
• If you are not receiving Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit or you have recently moved in to Manchester you can check how much benefit you might get and make a claim using our on-line benefit calculator and claim form
• If you are a landlord of a property in Manchester and receive Housing Benefit on behalf of your tenants, you can use the Account and Claim Tracker to view certain details about your tenants' claims.
